Job Summary

The Collaboration Engineer position is a member of a team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting various technical solutions.  The Collaboration Engineer position is a mid-level position for candidates seeking an engineering career focused on networking, collaboration, or contact center technologies. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with previous experience working in a customer-facing service, support, help desk, or administrator role.


  • Assist with installation of servers, VMs, and applications.
  • Install collaboration and contact center solutions, leveraging Cloverhound’s best practices
  • Configure collaboration and contact center solutions to meet customer-defined objectives
  • Troubleshoot collaboration and contact center solutions
  • Perform incident, service request, and problem management functions
  • Work and escalate problem management and root cause analysis as needed
  • Perform testing of collaboration and contact center technologies
  • Documentation of collaboration and contact center environments
  • Perform training for end-users, partners, and peers
  • Participate in customer-facing engagements throughout lifecycle of project
  • Perform peer reviews of collaboration and contact center installations and configurations
  • Maintain collaboration and contact center certifications and obtain new certifications as identified by Cloverhound

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Desire to learn the following technologies :
    • Cisco UCCX / Webex Contact Center
    • Cisco UCM / Voice Gateways / Webex Calling / SIP Trunking
    • Amazon Connect
    • Twilio
    • IVR scripting
  • Understanding of cloud collaboration and contact center concepts
